Mason Resnick has been doing street photography, mostly in New York City, since attending a life-changing workshop with Garry Winogrand in 1976. In 2026, he will be celebrating 50 years of street photography.

Resnick has had an illustrious career in the photographic industry, working as a writer and editor for Popular Photography and Modern Photography magazines, as well as for a number of photo enthusiast web sites and retailers.
